It is an absolute tragedy that we are not still flying this plane today. Rhino really knows his stuff, love to see his passion and enthusiasm for the plane still to this day.

I worked at Yingling Aircraft in Wichita,Kansas for 22 years,the 441 was my specialty,and went to many places to help customers with problems when they couldn't fly them to us.My longest trip was going to Oaxaca,Mexico to adjust fuel control on one engine.I flew back with the customer to Wichita,only stopping for customs in Mexico and Texas,didn't need to refuel.If a customer called Flight Safety or the Cessna factory for help on these,they gave the person my name and Yingling's phone number.

I have a stinger(tailhook)from a prowler. It was just leaning against the wall of my utility room when I bought my house. I thought it was a boat anchor for years. 😆 it's been a fun journey learning about this aircraft and its history.

Er they fly above all terrains not just water, and still are used in various forms and not retired from sea duty as the LCAC's of the US navy prove as does the Isle of wight service and on ice there's nothing better 😊

Unbelievable Stuff, It just makes one Appreciate the Pilots & Support Crews of the Many Flight Display Teams in our world but their is None Better than the Blue Angels & this comes from an Australian. What a Great Spectacle this IMAX theatre show is & What Magnificent Pictures by the Team who Captured all of This. Respectfully John

Good gracious, Chomps looks like he could be Spock's son. And also a Marine, uncanny. I worked with Spock for about 3 years at his last command.

I’m glad the museum is finally open again to the civilian public without DOD cleared escort. Unfortunately the last two times I was in the Pensacola area, the museum wasn’t available. Maybe someday I’ll get to visit.

Love the VID, this guy is almost doing the pre brief flight , moving his hands as he speaks like he is still flying the blues. can't lose that feeling has he watched his family flying these maneuvers .

I’m just curious , Let’s say your up Combat flying, or your flying in any air show know Whether it’s either way your pulling lots of G forces, negative and positive , which one do you often pull more negative g forces Is. It actually Combat dogfighting mission or air show Flying mission !

5:15 you are pointing out the TCS system on A models, not the IRST system which to my knowledge was only on D models.

F-14 had a lifting body and the first microprocessor. Amazing aircraft that was retired too soon especially with the potential of the Tomcat-21

When they restore these planes is it possible that they can be flown? I’m assuming no. It’s not like restoring a vintage car and dropping in a new engine to drive it.

Interesting to see how much of the "salmon" primer was used. I was under the impression it was used mainly in the gear bays and engine area on early corsairs. Very cool to see it before a re-paint.
